⚠ Important: compare the part number before buying
The radio code is not included with this unit. After every power disconnection, the unit requires a three-digit code, which is entered via the rotary controls; obtaining it requires the eight-digit unit number, and there are commercial code services for this series. We cannot guarantee that the code can still be determined for your unit – please factor this in.
The speaker connection is ground-free: the left and right speakers must not be connected to each other or to ground, the connection must remain strictly four-pole separated – otherwise the amplifier will be damaged.
The connector is in DIN format; for newer vehicle wiring harnesses, a DIN-to-ISO adapter is needed, plus an antenna adapter if applicable.
Does not fit:
- Becker Grand Prix 2000 (BE1302 and later, from 1990) – different part numbers
- The US version BE0780 without long wave
- Codeless predecessor models 612, 646, 754, 761, 763
- Vehicles with a double-DIN slot
