2. Weak or faulty lighting

The instrument cluster lighting is crucial at night. Common symptoms are:

Possible cause: Often the bulbs have simply burned out. In some cases, however, the problem lies in the electronics or the contacts.

Possible cause: Damaged circuit traces or cold solder joints on the circuit board are often the cause. Sensors or cable connections can also be faulty.
