Vehicle system and function
The pressure sensor measures the vacuum in the intake manifold and reports it via two coils to the D-Jetronic control unit, which uses it to form the base injection time. This design has no full-load diaphragm – on these engines, full load is reported by the throttle switch. The altitude correction sits under the black cap.
Installation location: Mounted in the engine compartment with a sheet-metal bracket on rubber grommets and connected to the intake manifold via a vacuum hose.
Condition: Used genuine part with riveted housing halves and black protective cap. The Bosch type plate on the side is worn off, the silver sticker on the cap is partly peeled. Bracket with rust spots, whitish corrosion on individual rivets.

⚠ Calibrated for the M110
The 0 280 100 111 is calibrated for the 2.8-liter six-cylinder M110. The V8 engines (350, 450) need different sensors with a different characteristic curve.
⚠ Compare the number
Sensors with a different final number have a different characteristic curve and cannot be reconfigured. Please compare the Bosch number on your old part.
⚠ Does not fit:
- 0 280 100 112 – for 450 SE/SEL/SL/SLC
- 0 280 100 012 – with full-load diaphragm for 350 SL and 280 SE 3.5
- 0 280 100 006 / 025 – for 250 CE (M114)
- BMW 3.0 CSi / CSL – 0 280 100 030
