Vehicle system and function
The piston feed pump draws diesel from the tank and delivers it at low pressure via the fuel filter into the suction chamber of the injection pump. It is driven by a tappet from the cam of the injection pump camshaft.
Installation location: Flange-mounted on the side of the Bosch inline injection pump, secured with two bolts via the 2-hole flange.
Condition: Refurbished by us and visually in as-new condition. Older type plate version “014 GERMANY FP/KG24M150” without printed 0440 number; housing casting number 2 445 103 290 as on the 0 440 007 018.
How to recognize a defective part
- ● Engine starts poorly or stalls again after starting
- ● Loss of power under load because the injection pump gets too little fuel
- ● Air in the fuel system or diesel leak at the feed pump

That is the feed pump of the four-valve diesels OM 604, OM 605 and OM 606 (W202, W210 and W124 E 250 Diesel and E 300 Diesel from 06/1993) – a different version.
⚠ Not for OM 615, OM 616 and OM 617
W115, W123, W116 and W126 300 SD Turbo up to 1985 have the feed pump FP/K 22 … with its own number.
⚠ Not FP/KG24M154 (0 440 007 022)
Different type designation, not identical in construction.
