Condition of this part

Used, untested. The rubber pad at the heel end is broken off and brittle, the hinge plate is rusty (see photos). The pedal bears the stamping 116 301 00 82 with the Mercedes star.

Function and location

Mechanical accelerator pedal. It transmits the foot force via the ball socket to the push rod of the throttle linkage.

Installation location: In the driver's footwell: hinged at the bottom on the floor pan, at the top with the ball socket on the push rod.

The number comes from the 116 number range. Other model series (e.g. W116, R107, W123) are not documented; please compare the number on the old part.
