Condition of this part

Used part with normal signs of age and use, the mirror glass shows slight marks. Adjustment and dimming both work. The exact condition can be seen in the product photos.

Function and location

Interior rearview mirror with manual day/night dimming via a dimming lever. The mirror is clipped onto the windshield-side mirror base with a spring clip. This is the short-arm version.

The installation location is on the inside of the windshield.

How can you tell if an interior mirror is faulty?

  • The dimming lever can no longer be moved, or the dimming function has no effect
  • The mirror sits loosely on the mirror base or can no longer be clamped securely
  • The mirror can no longer be adjusted or fixed in place in the mount

S-Class W116 (1972 – 1980):

  • 280 S/SE/SEL, 350 SE/SEL, 450 SE/SEL, 450 SEL 6.9

W123 / S123 / C123 (1976 – 1985):

  • Sedan, estate and coupé

SL / SLC R107 / C107 (1971 – 1989):

  • 280–560 SL, 280–500 SLC
