Function and location
Interior rearview mirror with manual day/night dimming via a dimming lever. This is the long, wide version that is clipped onto the windshield-side mirror base with a spring clip.
Installation location: inside on the windshield.

- The clamp on the mirror base no longer sits tight, the mirror wobbles or comes loose

What is the difference between the long and short versions?
The long version has a wider mirror body. The short version is mainly fitted in the W116, W123 and R107. This part is not suitable for electrically or automatically dimming interior mirrors.
