Function and location
The fuel pump relay (KPR) belongs to the KE-/K-Jetronic fuel injection. It switches the fuel pump(s) depending on engine speed and switches them off again if the speed signal is missing; it also controls the cold start valve during starting.
Installation location: relay box in the engine bay.
