New, unused bearing bush (steel plain-bearing assembly) in the original old Mercedes-Benz parts box – with no legible part number.
NOS – never installed · Original parts box · No installation or wear marks
Condition of this part
New part (NOS – New Old Stock), unused, in the original old Mercedes-Benz parts box. No installation, wear or abrasion marks and no fitting marks or rust pitting, only a thin film of storage oil and dust. The box is heavily yellowed, knocked at the edges and secured with tape.
Function and location
Stepped bearing bush, a steel plain-bearing assembly with a continuous cylindrical bore serving as a bearing or pin seat. A small radial hole connects the outer surface to the inner bore and supplies lubricant. The annular collar with attached hub forms an axial thrust face; the two raised beads on the outer surface are rolled sleeve edges. The assembly consists of at least two joined parts: a flanged bush with a grainy sintered and phosphated surface inside a rolled steel outer sleeve.
The installation location is not confirmed. Design and size match a press-fitted bearing location for a pin or shaft of approx. 12 mm diameter. Please check against the product photos and your own measurements.
⚠ Important: No part number – please check before buying
There is no part number on either the part or the box. The sale is expressly based on the photos and a comparison of measurements; a vehicle match is not confirmed. Since vintage boxes were often reused for other parts, it cannot be said with certainty that this is a genuine Mercedes-Benz part.
Does not fit:
- Roller/ball bearings – there are no races, cages or rolling elements present
- Rubber-metal bushings or silent blocks – there is no rubber layer fitted; the dark rings are crimped seams
- Valve guide – the collar-to-bore ratio and the crimped sleeve do not match this
