Function and location
Right-hand steering column switch (wiper stalk) for the windshield wipers and washer system – with interval setting (stages 0-I-II-III) and wipe/wash function. This is the wiper stalk, not the turn signal switch.
It is installed on the steering column, on the right.
How can you tell if a wiper stalk is faulty?
- Wiper does not respond, or only responds in individual settings (0-I-II-III)
- Interval setting does not work or works irregularly
- Wipe/wash function can no longer be triggered via the stalk
- Wiper can no longer be switched off
