Function and location
Combined control block made up of three switches: the central red push button triggers the hazard warning system and carries the indicator light, while the two flanking rocker buttons switch the rear window wiper and the central locking respectively. Contact is made via the main connector on the back as well as a two-pin secondary connector.
Installation location: center console below the central air vents, clipped into the trim panel.
How can you tell if a switch is faulty?
- The hazard warning system can no longer be triggered, or the indicator light in the button stays dark
- The rear window wiper does not respond, or only intermittently, to the rocker button
- Central locking does not open or close when the button is pressed
