Function and location
The electronic control unit belongs to the VDO cruise control / speed control system. It keeps the selected driving speed constant by evaluating the speedometer signal and using it to control the actuator on the throttle valve.
The installation location is in the interior – depending on the model series, either behind the side trim in the footwell or on the dashboard support.
