Function and location
The central steering column combination switch controls the left/right turn signals, headlight flasher/high beam, and the wiper settings, intermittent and wash-wipe function via the left steering column stalk. Typical failures of the old part are intermittent turn signals or erratic wiper settings due to worn contact tracks – resolved with this replacement part.
The switch is installed on the steering column under the steering wheel trim: the plastic mounting ring encircles the steering column, with the lever protruding on the left.
