- Book the repair here – you'll receive the return address with your order confirmation by e-mail.
- Send in the instrument cluster well packaged. Include a note with your order number, model series and your contact details – and, if desired, the odometer reading the instrument should display.
- We carry out the work and test all functions on our own test bench.
- Insured return shipping back to you (7,99 € within Germany, calculated at checkout) – install the instrument, done.
Typical fault pattern
The total odometer stops while the speedometer continues to display speed – or the trip odometer can no longer be reset. Both are typical age-related faults in the counter mechanism and no reason to replace the whole instrument cluster.

Do I need to send in the complete instrument cluster?
Yes, please remove the complete instrument cluster and send it in well padded – this way we can test all functions together on the test bench after the repair.
Is my odometer reading retained?
Yes. The displayed reading stays as it is. If you need a different reading, note it on the slip in the package.
What does the repair cost?
80 € fixed price plus 7,99 € insured return shipping within Germany (abroad: shipping costs as for parts shipments, visible at checkout). If a further fault is found during testing, we will contact you beforehand with a quote.
Do you also repair other makes?
No – we exclusively repair Mercedes-Benz instrument clusters of the W116, W123, W124, W126 and W201 model series.
