4x factory-new TRW intake valves (NOS/OVP) for swirl chamber diesel engines in VW Golf, Jetta, Passat, Caddy and T3 as well as Audi 80, part number TRW 33026 / 068 109 601.

Condition of this part
NOS/OVP: four factory-new, never-installed valves in the original blue-and-white TRW box. The box shows clear storage marks – grayed cover paper, worn edges, torn adhesive flap, yellowed label. The valves themselves are flawless: mirror-ground stems with a preservative oil film, factory black-oxidized head undersides, bright seat faces, no wear marks. Sold untested.
Function and location
The intake valve closes off the intake port in the cylinder head and opens it during the intake stroke. In the swirl chamber diesel, pure air is drawn in and highly compressed – the valve must close absolutely gas-tight.
Installation location: on the intake side of the cylinder head, guided in the valve guide, actuated directly by the overhead camshaft via bucket tappets; secured at the stem end with valve cone pieces in the three keeper grooves.
