Function and location
Electronic control relay (module) for the wipe-wash interval automatic (relay no. 192), version WITH rain sensor. It processes the rain sensor signal and controls interval and wiping speed as well as the washer pump. 12V, 16-pin.
Installation location: In the relay carrier/central electrics behind the dashboard or in the footwell relay box (driver side).
How can you tell if a wiper relay is faulty?
- The interval or rain sensor automatic no longer works.
- The wiping speed is no longer controlled via the rain sensor signal.
- The washer pump of the wipe/wash function does not start.
