How can you tell a warm-up regulator is defective?
The warm-up regulator regulates the control pressure depending on engine temperature and thus ensures the correct mixture enrichment during cold running of the Bosch K-Jetronic injection system. It is electrically heated.
It is installed on the engine in the K-Jetronic area, near the fuel distributor. If the regulator is defective, the mixture is no longer enriched correctly during cold running.
