How can you tell a warm-up regulator is faulty?
The warm-up regulator controls the control pressure depending on engine temperature and thus ensures correct mixture enrichment during cold running of the Bosch K-Jetronic injection system. It is electrically heated.
It is fitted to the engine in the K-Jetronic area, near the fuel distributor. If the regulator is faulty, the mixture is no longer correctly enriched during cold running.
