Vehicle system and function
Universal 40 A load relay from the VAG modular system (NO contact): control current at the coil closes the load contact. According to the parts catalog, depending on the slot it switches, among others, the rear window defroster, headlight cleaning, auxiliary and parking heater, starter, fuel pump, secondary air pump, terminal 15 or power outlet.
Installation location: Depending on the model, in the relay carrier of the central electrics (A3, TT, VW) or in the E-box in the water box (A4 B8, A5, Q5).
Condition: Used genuine part with normal signs of use on the housing (Tyco / TE, SN7, Made in Portugal). Four blade terminals, edges copper-colored. There are 2 pcs with the same relay and part number available; one example is pictured – supplier and date markings may differ. Price is per piece.
