Vehicle system and function
The regulator keeps the fuel pressure in the fuel rail constant above the intake manifold pressure, so that each injector delivers the same amount at the same opening time. Excess fuel flows back into the tank via the return pipe; via the vacuum connection the pressure adapts to engine load. The identical-construction equivalent PR30 is rated for 39 psi (approx. 2.7 bar).
Installation location: Flanged to the end of the fuel rail with two bolts. The side nipple with O-ring plugs into the rail, the long pipe takes the return hose, the thin nipple the vacuum hose.
Condition: Used genuine part in clean condition, O-ring on the insertion nipple present. Two pcs are available, one unit is pictured. Price is per piece.
