Vehicle system and function
The crankshaft converts the reciprocating motion of the six pistons into rotary motion and drives the timing chain via the duplex sprocket. The flywheel smooths out rotation, carries the starter ring gear and is the friction surface for the clutch.
Installation location: In the crankcase of the M110 engine, seven main bearings. The flywheel sits on the rear flange between the engine and the manual transmission.
Condition: Used, removed. Main and crank journals visually smooth with slight signs of use and occasional fine scratches. Flywheel friction surface with surface rust and wear marks, resurfacing recommended; starter ring gear without broken teeth. Bearing journals not measured, no crack or runout testing — please have it checked by an engine rebuilder before installation. The parts are used and can be viewed on site in 84079 Bruckberg by appointment. Pickup only in 84079 Bruckberg (Landshut district).

The M110 crankshaft was produced in several revisions depending on the engine number. Please compare the casting number 110 031 07 01 with your shaft or send us the engine number. The included flywheel is for manual transmission.

The six-cylinder 250, 280 S / 280 SE of the W108 model series and 230.6 have their own crankshafts.
⚠ Flywheel for manual transmission only
Vehicles with automatic transmission have a driveplate instead of the flywheel.
⚠ Does not fit:
- 250, 250 C, 230.6 (M114, M130, M180)
- W108 280 S / 280 SE (M130)
- M103 and M104 (W124, W126 from 1985)
