Vehicle system and function
The crankshaft converts the reciprocating motion of the six pistons into rotary motion and drives the timing chain and oil pump via the sprockets. The driveplate with starter ring gear connects the crankshaft to the torque converter of the automatic transmission.
Installation location: In the crankcase of the M103 engine, seven main bearings. The driveplate sits on the rear flange in front of the converter.
Condition: Used, removed. Main and rod journals shiny, no deep scoring visible in the photos. Raw cast webs with slight surface rust, orange factory markings, marker number 8. Driveplate A 102 032 06 06 bolted on, ring gear without missing teeth, surface rust on the ring. Bearing journals not measured, no crack or runout testing — please have it checked by an engine rebuilder before installation. The parts are used and can be viewed on site in 84079 Bruckberg by appointment. Pickup only in 84079 Bruckberg (Landshut district).

Fits the following Mercedes-Benz models with M103 engine
M103 with 2.6 and 3.0 liters have the same stroke of 80.25 mm. Not for the four-valve M104. Please compare the casting number with your shaft or send us the engine number. The driveplate is for automatic transmission.

300 E-24, 300 CE-24, 300 TE-24, 300 SL-24, E 280 and E 320 have the M104 engine with its own crankshaft.
⚠ Manual transmission
With manual transmission, a flywheel is required instead of the driveplate.
⚠ Does not fit:
- M104: 300 E-24, 300 CE-24, 300 SL-24, E 280, E 320
- Four-cylinder M102 and diesel
