Vehicle system and function
The MAS control unit combines several relays and switches the high-current engine ancillaries: fuel pump, magnetic clutch of the A/C compressor (including cut-off) and clutch of the secondary air pump. The rotary knob on top is a mechanical lock: at I it holds the unit firmly in the connector, at 0 it can be pulled off upward. Without MAS the engine will not start.
Installation location: In the engine bay on the bulkhead; on the 190 E 2.6 in the battery box under the plastic cover.
Condition: Used genuine part. Print on the housing: 007 545 65 32 MAS [01], (K) 05 3700 15, MAS sticker. Stainless steel retaining bracket with signs of use, rotary lock on top (0 / I) present, connector comb undamaged. Price is per piece. The photos show a representative example.
How to recognize a defective part
