Vehicle system and function
The mono valve regulates how much hot coolant flows through the heater core. The climate control unit continuously pulses the solenoid valve open and closed, thereby maintaining the set interior temperature. In the MAX position, the valve stays fully open.
Installation location: Between the two bulkheads behind the ventilation grille in front of the windshield, directly above the auxiliary water pump.
Condition: Expertly refurbished, tested and fully functional. Price is per piece; you will receive a unit in comparable condition as pictured.
How to recognize a defective part
- ● No or only weak heating, often due to a ruptured diaphragm in the valve
- ● Heater sometimes warm, sometimes cold; heat only comes once the valve connector is unplugged
- ● Constant unwanted heat, especially at idle

⚠ Mono valve, not duo valve
W126 without automatic climate control have a duo valve: A 000 830 38 84 (with windshield heating) or A 126 830 00 84 (without windshield heating).
⚠ Not R107, W201, W124, R129
R107 with automatic climate control: A 000 830 34 84. 190 W201: A 000 830 57 84. W124 and R129: duo valves A 000 830 65 84 and A 001 830 37 84, respectively.
⚠ Narrow down the cause first
A defective climate control unit can cause the same symptoms. Please check the valve's actuation before buying.
⚠ Does not fit:
- W126 and C126 without automatic climate control (duo valve)
- SL R107
- 190 W201
- W124 and R129

Duration and scope: 60 months from receipt of the goods, valid in Germany and the rest of the EU.
