Vehicle system and function
The upper part is the filter head of the full-flow oil filter: it is bolted to the crankcase with a gasket and carries the filter bowl underneath, which is held by a central bolt in the center thread. The housing also contains the oil pressure or relief valve and the connection for the mechanical oil pressure gauge.
Installation location: At the bottom of the engine block of the M180, the filter bowl hangs downward. The hose leads to the steel line of the oil pressure gauge in the instrument cluster.
Condition: Used genuine part, blasted and painted silver, sealing surfaces clean. The connected pressure hose has no visible cracks, both plug screws and the sleeves in the mounting lugs are present. Without filter bowl, filter element and gaskets.
