Vehicle system and function
The control unit cycles the front windshield wiper in interval mode and automatically triggers the follow-up wipe when washing. Via terminals 53, 53e and 31b it controls the wiper motor and its park position cutoff.
Installation location: Wipe/wash interval slot in the relay carrier; on the Audi 80 B3 in the relay carrier in the engine compartment, position 9.
Condition: Used genuine part with normal signs of use on the housing (Siemens Austria, 5WK1 637, 12 V). The white relay number 229 covers part of the embossing. There are 25 pcs with the same relay and part number available, one unit is pictured – supplier and date markings may differ. Price applies per piece.
How to recognize a defective part
