Vehicle system and function
During starting, the relay supplies voltage to the solenoid switch of the starter motor – as J682 (terminal 50 power supply) or as starter relay J906 / J907 with start-stop and Kessy. Depending on the vehicle, the same number also sits in slots for terminal 15. A diode and a resistor are fitted across the coil.
Installation location: Depending on the vehicle, in the relay carrier of the central electrics in the interior or in the E-box in the engine compartment (T6).
Condition: Used genuine part with normal signs of use on the housing (KTB 14.1800.00, 12 V 50 A, Germany). Five blade terminals, housing with small dents on top. There are 2 pcs with the same relay and part number available; one example is pictured – supplier and date markings may differ. Price is per piece.
