Vehicle system and function
Control unit in a relay form factor that switches the A/C compressor's electromagnetic clutch (output MK). According to the wiring diagram on the housing, it also has an input for an NTC temperature sensor and a bidirectional data connection (BIDI). Listed in the parts catalog as a control unit for the magnetic clutch.
Installation location: VW T5: fuse and relay carrier under the battery in the engine compartment.
Condition: Used genuine part with normal signs of use on the housing (Siemens 89 8041 000, SHO, 12 V, Made in Germany). Eight blade terminals (P, 31, T4, 15, NTC A+ / A−, MK, BIDI), matte, one terminal group slightly tarnished. There are 2 pcs with the same relay and part number available, one unit is pictured – supplier and date markings may differ. Price applies per piece.

7H0 919 506 B / D is the control unit for the T5 radiator fan – a different part.
⚠ Not a glow plug relay
Despite a similar design, it is not a glow time control unit.

- 7H0 919 506 B / D – T5 radiator fan control unit
- T5 from model year 2010 (facelift) – not documented
